Where are you based, and do you travel?
We're based in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and we shoot wherever the project is: across the Caribbean and around the world.
What services do you offer?
Commercials, aerial cinematography, reality TV, documentary and film, concerts and live events, and music videos. Directing, cinematography, drone cinematography and editing are all handled in-house.
Are you certified to fly drones?
Yes. Dwight Winston is an FAA certified remote pilot in the United States and EASA certified in Europe, with network aerial credits including CBS Survivor.
Do you handle airspace approvals and permits?
Yes. We plan flights, request airspace approvals and coordinate location permits as part of aerial and production work. Approval timelines depend on the location and the authority.
Can you crew or fix for a production coming to the Caribbean?
Yes. We provide camera and drone operators, local crew, permits and logistics for networks and productions shooting in the Virgin Islands and wider Caribbean.
Do you film concerts and live events?
Yes. We cover concerts, festivals and live events with multi-camera, gimbal and drone coverage, and deliver highlight reels, recaps and social cutdowns.
How do I get a quote?
Use the booking form and tell us what you're making, where, when and your deliverables. We reply within one business day with availability and next steps.
What should I include in my request?
The type of project, locations, dates, the deliverables you need (lengths, formats, platforms) and a budget range if you have one. The more we know, the more accurate the quote.
How do I license stock footage?
Browse the Stock Footage page, choose a Standard or Extended license, and check out with PayPal. Every clip is covered by our Footage License Agreement.
Do you do drone light shows?
Yes, through our sister company Moko Drones, which flies 200-drone light shows across the Caribbean. Visit mokodrones.com.
Can you fly drones in Virgin Islands National Park?
No. The National Park Service does not allow drones in Virgin Islands National Park, which covers much of St. John and its waters. We plan aerials from outside the park boundary or suggest other ways to get the shot.
Do I need a film permit to shoot in the U.S. Virgin Islands?
There is no blanket territory film permit, and U.S. citizens don't need work permits. Individual locations such as national parks, beaches, roads and government buildings need their own authorizations, which we coordinate with the USVI Film Office.
How do payments work?
Production payment terms are set out in each quote and agreement. Stock footage is paid online through PayPal.
